Children’s Church at Solid Rock United Methodist Church is a time when children ages five through fifth grade can experience their own worship service. Children are dismissed after the children’s message (except on Communion Sunday) to learn about the elements of worship and their meanings. What does it mean to be a United Methodist? Why do we light candles, take up an offering, pray for others, and have communion? These and many other topics children wonder about are addressed.
Kids' Club
Kids’ Club is open to all children in the community, ages five through fifth grade. We meet from 6:30-7:30 p.m. for 8 weeks in the spring and 12 weeks in the fall. All kids are welcome. The goal of the program is to give kids hands-on experiences that help them learn about the Bible and what it means to live the life that Jesus intends for us to live. Kids enjoy crafts, snacks, games, songs, and drama that all relate to that week's lesson.
United Methodist Youth Fellowship
UMYF meets the first and third Sundays of each month, from 4:00-5:30 at the Warren site. All youth in grades 5-12 are welcome to participate. For further information, contact Jeff Walter, Marie DeWeese, or Pastor Kathy Newton.
